2026 Salaries: National: £44,520 – £47,720 | London: £46,800 – £50,000.

2. Senior Crown Prosecutor (Grade 7)
Designed for experienced practitioners, this role focuses on the management of the most complex criminal cases in the UK.
Daily Operations: A hybrid model consisting of office-based case reviews and Crown Court advocacy.
2026 Salaries: National: £55,975 – £63,500 | London: £61,750 – £71,400 (plus a £3,150 Recruitment and Retention Allowance).

3. Legal Trainee (Entry Point)

A two-year structured journey (Pupillage or Training Contract) with a guaranteed transition into a permanent lawyer role upon completion.

  • Salary Path: Starts at £30,700, rising to £34,280 after 15 months.
  • Progression: Automatic promotion to the Crown Prosecutor scale (£44,520+) upon qualification.
