1. Policy Adviser (HEO)
A foundational role managing specific policy areas and supporting ministerial decisions.
Salary: £34,820 – £40,000 (National) | £38,000 – £44,000 (London).
Primary Tasks: Drafting submissions for tax/spending adjustments and engaging with external stakeholders (banks, charities).
2. Senior Policy Adviser (SEO)
Involves increased autonomy and the leadership of complex strategic projects.
Salary: £43,090 – £49,500 (National) | £48,500 – £54,000 (London).
Primary Tasks: Designing long-term sectoral strategies and collaborating with legal teams to draft Finance Bills.
3. Assistant Economist (HEO)
A technical specialist role within the Government Economic Service (GES).
Salary: £34,820 – £40,000 (National) | £38,000 – £44,000 (London).
Primary Tasks: Developing economic models via Python/Excel and conducting “Value for Money” evaluations using the Treasury Green Book.
4. Lead Sanctions Advisor (SEO)

Requirements and Qualifications
