Positions Available
1. Delivery Postperson (with Driving)
The standard postal role now prioritizes parcels over letters due to 2026 Universal Service reforms.
Salary: Approx. £23,000 (£13.66/hr) starting; rising to £30,000 for experienced staff.
The Work: Physical demands include walking up to 12 miles daily and delivering approximately 90 parcels per shift.
2. Mail Sorter (Processing Operative)
Behind-the-scenes roles located in Delivery Offices or large-scale “Super Hubs.”
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 (Shift premiums available for night work).
Key Focus: Troubleshooting Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) address-reading systems.
3. LGV Class 1 Driver (Trunking)
Connecting national sorting centers by moving large-scale mail volumes.
Salary: £38,000 – £48,000. London and Super Hub rates can reach £26.67/hr.
The Work: Depot-to-depot “trunking” with minimal manual unloading (handballing).
4. Vehicle Technician (Fleet Maintenance)
Maintaining the UK’s largest fleet, including a massive transition to electric vehicles.
Salary: Base approx. £39,715; total earnings with overtime often reach £60,000 – £70,000.
Bonus: A £1,500 signing bonus is currently included in 2026 postings.

Requirements and Qualifications
